So everyone's familiar with Twitter and knows it's pretty important in the music promotion game. Well everyone might not really fathom how important it is. Twitter is your most direct connection to your fans. It's a way for you to converse up close and personal every second of the day. A true fan wants to be able to 'touch' the artist and see what's going on in his/her mind. The Twitter status update is the best way to do that in this day and age. With twitter just expose who you are personally...true you want to promote your music every now and then but use it as a way to personally connect with your fans. Say random facts or make random comments on whatever. "I was walking down the block and tripped over a weed growing through the sidewalk..how a weed gonna break through cement??!" or something like that lol. Because then you give them a reason to want to know more about you, which they can find in your music. Happy recording.
