Ever thought about purposely building up a catalog of songs that you sit on until the right time to release? Might be a new concept to most but if you have the resources, its a great idea. Say for example that you use every bit of a year to create 12 songs for your next project. You release the project and one song ends up being a major hit. All of the sudden you're flooded with interviews and plan trips to shows coast to coast. Forget recording, you barely have time to breath! Before you know it a year has passed and your fans are itching for some new music. So now because of your busy schedule you gotta rush to spit out some songs to keep up with the demand. Now do you think these songs are going to be of the same caliber as your first? ...Probably NOT! LOL SO.. if you plan to make a hit, plan to have several others in your back pocket.
